Dear Colleague

The Leadership Foundation is delighted to announce that it is once again making funding available for Small Development Projects (SDPs). Higher education institutions that are members of the Leadership Foundation (or groups of members) are invited to bid for up to £8,000. These projects are part of the Leadership Foundation’s commitment to investing in innovation in higher education. This year the SDPs should have a particular emphasis on building an evidence base through case studies. The deadline for submission is Monday 5 December 2016. Projects are expected to start by Monday 6 March 2017.

The key principles of the SDP fund are that it supports innovative activities that would not normally attract funding from within an institution and that there is clear benefit to the wider higher education community to learn from project processes and outcomes. The Leadership Foundation has invested in well over 100 SDPs since their inception.
