Publishing Editor Our client is a leading STM & academic publisher based in central London. They are looking for a Publishing Editor to join their STM journals team working on a brand new list of Open Access Medical and Life Sciences journals. This a new position within the company and is therefore an exciting opportunity to put your stamp on a new portfolio with a publisher who is leading the way with innovations in Open Access publishing. You will manage and develop the list and support the Publisher. In this role you will: * Manage and develop the list * Keep close contact with journal editors * Work with the marketing and Open Access team and the journal Editors * Develop annual strategic plans for each journal * Prepare internal and external reports * Represent the company at conferences and exhibitions This is an exciting opportunity to work with globally-renowned scientific journals, maximising profitability and developing the company's status and reputation. It's an exciting time to join the company. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in journal publishing and excellent IT skills. You will have experience in project management and the ability to juggle various projects within assigned timeframes, and the confidence to work independently and the ability to liaise with key industry figures.
