My own views concern the further convergence of artificial intelligence and networks, including the internet. The scope of this includes the user interface, the accumulation of personal data, security, new services, wholesale services, QoS, denial of service attacks, network management, etc.
One could envisage a network with distributed AI elements that communicate with each other and with users/ apps/ other network functions, share some data, provide highly personalised services (anticipatory/ voice-activated/ response to environmental triggers, etc.), manage the network.

I think it needs looking at. Any thoughts?

my person view on future internet is that most the projects trying to do stuff in US and EU have been a fairly extensive waste of
money....
