Academic Writing Program

The Academic Writing Program at Koç University invites applications for full-time positions for instructors of academic writing to commence either in the Spring (February) or Fall (September) semesters in 2017. Qualified candidates should have an MA or PhD in a relevant field and have at least three years of successful experience teaching university-level academic writing. 

Candidates with experience teaching legal, business, creative, medical and/or technical and scientific writing are especially encouraged to apply. 
	
The Koç University Academic Writing Program uses content-based pedagogy to introduce students to basic academic writing and a research based program for more, advanced, and discipline-specific academic writing. Successful candidates will be expected to teach four courses per semester (one course may be an elective) and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the program.
