Hi Mia A bugbear from an archives perspective is that Europeana is limited to digital archives (assuming this is still the case as I haven’t checked recently). Currently only a small proportion of archives are digitised and unless things change dramatically, this is likely to be the case for the foreseeable future. This seems like a big gap. I also recall that some/many folks in museums find the EDM restrictive (though again I haven’t looked at this recently) Ade _____________________________ Adrian Stevenson Senior Technical Coordinator Jisc Manchester 6th Floor, Churchgate House 56 Oxford Street Manchester M1 6EU Email: [log in to unmask] Tel: +44 (0) 161 413 7561 http://www.twitter.com/adrianstevenson http://uk.linkedin.com/in/adrianstevenson/ > On 2 Nov 2016, at 10:44, Mia <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > > Dear MCGers, > > I have a cheeky request for the list, but hopefully one that's appropriate to the history of discussion on the list and among the MCG community.
