Talis Insight 2017 – Use your User Group!

The ball has definitely started to roll and submissions of papers from the Talis Aspire User Group to the next Talis Insight conference<http://go.talis.com/talis-insight-europe-2017> have started to come in, many thanks for those.

There is still ample time for more contributions to be added to the programme, so please think about contributing to a presentation or discussion or whatever format you prefer to the Talis Aspire User Group track. By doing so, you’ll enhance your own experience of Talis by sharing with others in the user group community and feel good about it too!

Don’t be put off by getting a summary together, an outline of what you’ve got to say with a provisional title will really help the agenda come together. There’s a lot to be learned from the experiences of others, big or small, positive or negative so please have a think about what you have to offer and get in touch.

Full details are below and we really look forward to hearing more ideas for sessions.

Thanks and best wishes,

Talis Insight 2017 – your User Group needs you!

The time has come to get the ball rolling and invite submissions of papers from the Talis Aspire User Group to the next Talis Insight conference to be held on 25th - 26th April, 2017, at The REP Theatre, Birmingham. If you weren’t able to attend this year, or just want to revisit the highlights of the event, have a look at http://go.talis.com/talis-insight-europe-2016-discover-content.

The event is a great opportunity to meet with, talk to and learn from other Talis users so don’t be shy, now’s the time to think about what you do well and share it with the rest of the Talis user community!

For example have you:

· Implemented an innovative use of Reading Lists or the Digitised Content service?

· A cunning plan to enhance either student experience or academic engagement?

· Come up with effective ways of working that could inspire wholesale plagiarism inspiration for anyone else struggling with workflows?

· Questions about how to make the best use of Reading Lists or Digitised Content?
If you have any of these, or other wonderful ideas besides, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome offers of a presentation, or perhaps the facilitation of a workshop, or leading of a discussion session, the choice is yours. Talis Insight offers the time and space to best serve the user group so let’s make the most of it.
If you’d like to present or lead a session of any sort, please send a brief summary (200 - 300 words) and a provisional title to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

The deadline for the submission of proposals for user group sessions is 30 November 2016.

We look forward very much to hearing from you!
