Dear all,

Thank you kindly to those who responded and helped me to get some results for our user.

Subject: Costing Information Query

Hello everyone,

I wondered if I could pick your brains. I have been given an interesting search enquiry and have run aground looking for costing information.

Particularly I am looking for the costs of:

·         MRI/CT scans for children

·         The cost of general anaesthetic/sedation on the child

·         The savings NHS trusts can make not using sedation

·         Percentage of patients who get through the scan without anaesthetic and without a Play Specialist prepping them

·         Percentage of patients who get through the scan without anaesthetic and with a Play Specialist helping them.

I realise those are very specific search terms but if anyone is able to point me at any useful sites or information it would be greatly appreciated. (I have a costing report from NICE and a few cost links for hospitals in America/Canada).

best wishes
