The return of the slum: participatory action research on housing and homelessness in East London

Friday, December 2nd, 6.30-9pm

Between October 2015 and May 2016, the Focus E15 campaign took part in a participatory action research (PAR) project with academics from the University of Leeds and Sheffield.

This public event will launch the report of the research which examined people's experiences of housing and displacement in Newham, looking specifically at the conditions in which people are living and the response of the council to requests for support.

We invite you to join us to hear and discuss the findings:

6.30pm Arrival for (complimentary) food.
7.00pm Presentation from researchers, discussion from panellists, questions from the floor.
8.30pm Wrap up
