Hi everyone, Please see below for details of a public event in London which may be of interest to some of you: The return of the slum: participatory action research on housing and homelessness in East London Friday, December 2nd, 6.30-9pm Husk Coffee & Creative Space, 649 Commercial Road, London, E14 7LW Between October 2015 and May 2016, the Focus E15 campaign took part in a participatory action research (PAR) project with academics from the University of Leeds and Sheffield. This public event will launch the report of the research which examined people's experiences of housing and displacement in Newham, looking specifically at the conditions in which people are living and the response of the council to requests for support.
