Thanks Sean. No you're definately not insane and it's a bad thing if some people here think you are--especially as many here are rightly against sexism, racism and homophobism, and insane people have rights also not to be discriminated against.

Bye for now.

Dear David

No offence whatsoever and fully understand your views. The "insanity" label I received went away beyond anything you said & has no defence. To declare someone "sane" or "insane" is best left to professionals in that field.

Those who defended that or supported Alison at the time or now only support a very tainted view. Rachel only emerged at that point as well as Jimmy C later on. Up until then promos were their main contribution in my time on here. These usually for Joycean generated events in Cork city. Not James A Joyce but another gent of later vintage who emerged via Michael Smith's New Writers Press. The majority of writers on here have enjoyed his hospitality on the banks of The Lee in Cork.

So I hope you will change your mind David & best wishes. We need people like Kent & yourself to keep things on a level. If everyone agreed on everything it indeed would be a wonderful world. There would be harmony as well as no exclusion or selective choices of festival guests.

Best Wishes

Sean
