Mark, you touchy potty mouth, you.

There is no conversation to have, so far as I can see?

I was just poking you in the ribs about your "sober assessment" that "it's over."

You came back like Trump and dropped the F-Bomb.

I certainly won't be calling you for advice on anger management!

If you want to have this kind of conversation, do it backchannel.

Tsk tsk, Mark.

Sounds like you need to back to your couch.

(On the Wall Street Democrats pulling it out by the skin of their teeth: Hope you are right this time!)

It's way closer than any of us imagined, I think. To I suspect she'll pull it out.

More to the point, I know you think you're being funny. But fuck you.

It's 10:41 EST, on November 8, as I write, and Trump is very possibly about to become President of the United States.

I am writing to nominate Mark Weiss as Official Electoral Pollster of the British-Irish List.

Sorry, aging fingers, like Mark's, it seems.

Mark, we'll leave the issue of the Sanders phenomenon alone, for now. You might not want, at this time, to get into a debate on the urgent requirements for a truly left future politics and the "relationship" of the Democratic Party to that need. Let's watch TV for the next few days.

I'm not saying she isn't going to win. Odds are still that she will. And holding my nose, I hope she does, of course.

But those odds are getting more than a bit uncomfortable.

As one of the smartest pollsters in history, Nate Silber, put it this AM, things have rapidly shifted. If the trend over the next day and half continues, and Trump can pull off Michigan and North Carolina--where things are within the margin of error--and win Florida--where he seems to be ahead--then he will likely win.

If you can't see that things are approaching the edge, then you are clearly in denial. Which is one of the stages, as you know, of various kinds of substance abuse. :~)

Kent, by now you'll have noticed that I sent an empty reply. Ascribe it to aging fingers.

As to substance, whatever you're taking I'd stop. She looks like a pretty easy winner. But that it isn't a landslide can in fact be laid partly at Sanders' door, for allowing the really vicious, dishonest campaign by his surrogates. Tho he certainly would have been a popular president of the United Campuses of America.

Do you think when Hillary's in the oval office we can stop refighting the primaries?

It's looking like it might be another Brexit-type stunner.

The DNC has no one to blame but itself.

Sanders would have trounced Trump.

Get out the suitcases, gringos.

Bolivia is a pretty interesting place. And the proto-fascist movement there is quite tiny.
