Please take a look below and let us know what you think: Associate/Statistical Scientist/Senior/Principal Due to our client's continued growth we have opportunities for exceptional statisticians at both junior and experienced levels. We are looking for multiple Statisticians who are hungry to make a difference to join our client, an innovation driven Pharmaceutical company. They have a very strong and exciting pipeline, both in Oncology but also non-Oncology, therefore this is a very exciting time for them and it will potentially be for those joining or already on board. Main duties and responsibilities: -In this role you will be responsible for providing drug development and statistical expertise to the design and analysis of clinical studies and, depending on your experience, for the senior/principal roles the responsibility may extend to the entire global development program. -You may also be responsible for providing statistical input to teams preparing for health authority submissions, leadership of other statisticians, statistical programmers and related colleagues in health authority activities and participating in health authority interactions. Key requirements: -Educated to a MSc or PhD level in Statistics or related discipline. -Understanding of a programming language (e.g. SAS, R) that allows you to evaluate assumptions when designing clinical trials and then model/explore data arising from clinical trials. -It is desirable (but not essential) that you have experience of study design and data analysis from different phases of drug development or in-depth of pivotal studies for health authority submissions. -Our client has had success with previous vacancies by hiring people with a range of backgrounds (e.g. academic settings, clinical research groups, CROs) so your own experience could have been gained outside of the traditional pharmaceutical industry.
