we would like to invite you to the 2017 edition of the
"Statistical Methods for Post-Genomic Data" workshop (SMPGD 2017) 
taking place at Imperial College London on 12-13 January 2017:

The workshop aims at gathering statisticians, bioinformaticians and
biologists to discuss new statistical methodology for the analysis of
genomics data and further development of such methodology for
challenging, new types of genomics data.

The main themes in 2017 are:

    * Theme 1:Big data in biology, medicine and health, and precision 
medicine
    * Theme 2:Bayesian biostatistics and machine learning in bioinformatics
    * Theme 3:Computational molecular epidemiology
    * Theme 4:Systems biology, networks, and evolutionary models

Keynote speakers:

    * Theme 1:Neil Lawrence (Amazon UK Research Lab, Cambridge, and University of Sheffield)
    * Theme 2:Pierre Alquier (ENSAE ParisTech, Paris)
    * Theme 3:Roel Vermeulen (University of Utrecht)
    * Theme 4:Benno Schwikowski (Institut Pasteur, Paris)
