In the wake of the Rio 2016 Olympics, Professor John Horne FAcSS, Professor of Sport Sociology at the University of Central Lancashire, and author of Understanding the Olympics, looks at the challenges facing the International Olympic Committee and discusses some of the underlying criticisms associated with Rio 2016.
