Dear list members,

I am recruiting for a rare opportunity with a well-respected scientific journal publisher in London. They're looking for an Editorial Assistant with a life science background and some prior experience in journals publishing.

Here is the advert:

Editorial Assistant

Our client, one of the most prestigious medical journal publishers based in London is looking for an Editorial Assistant to support the Managing Editor and Web Support Editor in the processing of journal submissions. This is a part-time role and the post-holder will work 3 days per week. This would be ideal for someone wishing to find a part-time role to fit in with other projects, commitments or family arrangements.

Main duties would include:

  * To support in the processing and administration of journal submissions
  * Provide support for editorial meetings
  *   Keeping accurate records

This is a unique opportunity as you will be working closely with the Managing Editor and it is a great opportunity to work on a highly successful journal within a small team. You will be organised and computer literate with good attention to detail and administrative skills. A life sciences background is essential.

If this sounds like you, don't hesitate to get in touch! Please e-mail your CV and covering letter to Chloe Rhys at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or call 02036686737.
