From Ros Bragg, Director of Maternity Action

We will be launching our Action Plan on maternity rights on 29 October in a joint event with the NCT. The Action Plan is our set of recommendations for action on pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We have developed these over the past year with the Alliance for Maternity Rights (AfMR) which is made up of unions, advice agencies, parenting groups and the RCM. (This group was formerly called the Alliance Against Pregnancy Discrimination but has been renamed to give us scope to address threats to maternity rights in the Brexit environment).

It would be great if you could attend the event. We are livestreaming the event through our YouTube channe<https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBnKbE-0lhntsY2gBJZr_8Q>l, so you can attend in person or online. You can register to attend here.<https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/taking-action-on-maternity-rights-tickets-28500057439>

We have prepared a video<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zajsZ8k5OD0> to promote the event and I would appreciate if you could share this with your networks.

Best wishes
Ros
