The University invites applications for the above post, to work on a Wellcome Trust funded project on the dog in science and medicine in the twentieth century, focusing particularly on genetics and physiology. You will join a group whose member are also working on the dog in veterinary medicine and the behavioural sciences, and on changing practices of dog breeding, feeding, training and health care. This post would suit scholars with a background in the history of biology, the history of the biomedical science, or the history of medicine.
