[cid:eaa80146-58be-4cc9-915c-9ed1da56846a] Proposed new reading group We want to set up a reading group on critical cartography to supplement our seminar series and link to our online journal. The group will meet monthly at a pub in Covent Garden, with drinks and snacks to go with the food for thought. You don't have to know a whole lot about the field - the point is to explore new areas, share information and engage in lively debate. The group will decide which books to read. These might include some of the classics as well as little known and overlooked texts, novels and poetry. We wil also look at academic works and online cartographic projects. If you are interested in joining, please email me at [log in to unmask] with your name, affiliation (if any), the days of the week which you would prefer the group to meet and an indication of some of the topics or texts you would like to explore. We anticipate starting in the New Year. Places are limited and there has been a lot of interest following a preliminary announcement , so please reserve your place as soon as possible.
