Ok so far have had 8 replies from BHUG HERs (just over a third of us by my reckoning ) but only 2 in favour/able/willing to attend a meeting (so about 25% of those who responded, but only about 10% of all BHUGs).

So anyone else out there not replied, I’ll give it another week and then call it, but based on response so far unlikely to be a meeting.

Separately, to non-BHUGers apologies – I will investigate a JISCmail BHUG list when I can

Best wishes

Apologies to non-BHUGs, but the BHUG list is down and I have yet to find time to set up an alternative.

If you are on the BHUG list please reply to me off list, so I can make sure I have caught everyone

thanks

Hi guys

As you will probably have seen from the HER forum, the next HER Forum is Scheduled for 7th December.

We can have the space afterwards for up to an hour to have a BHUG meeting, if one is desired, and this time I am trying to arrange it well in advance.

So who is going, and would like to have a BHUG meeting?

I think there are potentially some useful feedbacks to be had regarding BHUGs and HERALD.

Is there anything else people might like to discuss?

Silence will be taken as a No, but it would be nice to have a reply that says that, so I know your still out there

thanks

Hello Nick

Thanks for your e-mail. Things here are as well as can be expected. Hope things are going well in Durham.

The arrangements at the BMI are the same as the last time we visited. so there would be no problem in BHUG having some room for an hour after the main meeting closes. (It’s not yet been confirmed if we’ll have access to the annexe room for food as we did before but, if we do, BHUG can use that as per last time. If not it should be possible to find a corner in the main lecture theatre).

Best wishes

Nick

Hi Nick

Hope all is well at Historic England.

I am gonna ask my vaguely regular request to see if we could possibly have a BHUG meeting after the HER Forum ends? Would that be ok and how long could we have the venue for (if at all?)

I am not sure if there is much demand for a meeting, but if we can have some time, I’ll start the ball rolling to see if it’s worth holding one.

thanks

best wishes
