Dear collegues, We are developing in the next 5 months a metamorphic petrology laboratory with hand samples and thin sections here at Federal University of South and Southeast of Pará, in Brazil. The lab will be used by all geology students from university and other geosciences students as well. Since we are seeking to have a lab with a variety of metamorphic rocks from many places in the world, we would like to appeal to you all for donations of some metamorphic rocks of high grade metamorphism such as granulites, eclogites and migmatites. Blueschists would be very helpful too. Also, cordierite-bearing rocks and andalusite-bearing rocks would be very welcome. Please, if you are available to help us, contact us.
