Dear colleagues,

I’m writing on behalf of the Refugee Law Initiative at the University of London, in relation to the launch of our 7th Annual International Refugee Law Seminar Series.

The International Refugee Law seminar series at the Refugee Law Initiative provides a public space for discussion, promotion and dissemination of research between academics, practitioners, students and others with an interest in the refugee and forced migration field. This 7th annual seminar series addresses the theme of: ‘Protection in the context of large-scale movements of refugees and migrants’.

These are FREE public events hosted at either Senate House or the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (Russell Square), throughout the year, and we thought might be of interest to you. The first of these series of events is a talk: ‘One Protocol yet to be drafted’? What treaty law can and cannot do to advance refugee protection by Jean-François Durieux on 24th October, 2016.
