We have one reception area for our disability service which is basically one person's office, albeit a fairly large one.

I would prefer us to have a fit for purpose reception area with a managed front desk, possibly in tandem with other student services, such as counselling or careers.

Bradford has a reception area for the Disability Service, shared with the Careers Service but completely separate from the busy, crowded and not very private or confidential main reception area.

Hi,

Our disability services are part of Student Support so the reception area is within that (not separate).
Next year, there is a potential move of student support to a student hub co-located with registry and other support teams so it will be interesting to see how that pans out for disabled students. I'm therefore interested in this thread when others reply.

Kind regards,

Lyn

Dear All,
Do you have a separate reception area so that disabled students can access Disability Services?

Lucy
