Dear BUCNI users, Just a few reminders about scanning at BUCNI, to facilitate smooth handovers between groups. 1. Switching off the scanner: Just follow instructions on the table besides the scanner. Also, please don’t turn the key as this causes confusion for groups the next morning. 2. Projector settings: There are instructions on Extron on how to switch between front and back projector (there should never be any need to bypass Extron). The typical issue is needing to switch the output resolution to allow front projector to come on. If you are plugging in an external laptop and you have ridiculously high screen resolution (2 x 1920 x 1080 ish) - lucky you, but please lower your resolution before switching the Extron to cogent PC. As always, please return everything to default settings before you leave, and contact someone at BUCNI if there is an issue. Don’t leave it for the next group to sort out. 3. Also, here is your regular reminder to wash any cups/ glasses that you, your group, or your participants have used. Or don’t complain when there are no clean cups for you to use :) Thanks a lot for your co-operation, and happy scanning!
