Reminder CSAS seminar Gendered and visual politics in South Asia, 27 October, 3:30p.m., Room S1, Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DT. Abstract: This lecture examines several visual records, from paintings, posters, to film excerpts and advertisements, and evaluates how gender politics and conflict are represented and representative of modern South Asian history. This session includes a discussion of selected photographs from the Centre of South Asian Studies archive.
