Medical Statistician

Applications are sought for a Medical Statistician to provide statistical
support for ongoing and upcoming national and international trials
co-ordinated by the CECM. The post will be based in the Centre for
Experimental Cancer Medicine, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and
The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of
London.

Essential requirements for this post include a post-graduate degree (M.Sc.
or above) in Medical Statistics or closely related subject. Statistical
work/research experience in cancer clinical trials and experience of using
statistical analysis package STATA is also essential. A demonstrated
ability to communicate well and work within a team are also essential. Some
knowledge of the design and analysis of early phase clinical trials, as
well as knowledge of using Microsoft Office Access would be an advantage.

The post is a full time appointment for 12 month rolling contract, starting
salary will be within the Grade 4 Research Scale, in the range of £32,405 -
£38,062 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days
