The Statistical Showcase is a special event which explores the wide spectrum of career paths available to young statisticians and users of statistics.
The event will open with 2 bitesize training sessions followed by a number of careers sessions covering a diverse range of statistical fields, including medicine, finance, consultancy, government, environment, industry, sports, technology and other applications.
With speakers from Johnson & Johnson, NHS Blood and Transplant, Roche, the Bank of England, McKinsey & Company, GSI, ONS, the Department for Transport, Global Sports Statistics, Sony, Shell, Mango Solutions, ASOS, Sparx, and Sainsburys.
As well as two plenary sessions from our distinguished speakers, Professor Peter Diggle and Professor Denise Lievesley.
The event will include lunch, sponsored by Sparx, and will close with a wine reception for networking and further discussion, sponsored by Atass sports.
