Subject: HIV assay in the ED
Dear All,
We’ve had a request for help from the Matron of ED at North Middlesex Hospital, who’s asking if any Trusts have a POCT HIV service in their ED, either for severe sepsis or for screening purposes.
This is not something that we run at Queens & KGH, as HIV assay is GUM specific.
Does anyone else supply an HIV service for the ED?
