POSTDOC IN DATA SCIENCE FOR NEUROSCIENCE

An NSF-funded postdoctoral position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Pestilli Franco at Indiana University. More information about this project can be found on the NSF website, on the Indiana University Website and on Dr. Pestilli Website.

This position is ideal of individuals with previous expertise in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science or Psychology interested in learning about Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Scientists and Engineers interested in learning Neuroscience. Lab collaborators are Olaf Sporns, Andrew Saykin, Cesar Caiafa, Craig Stewart, Robert Henschel (Indiana University), Lei Wang (Northwestern University), Daniel Marcus (Washington University St. Louis), and Brian Wandell (Stanford University). The project involves a large network of scientists.

Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or other closely related fields. Excellent programming skills are essential. Expertise in advanced statistics or computational methods is strongly recommended. Salary will commensurate with experience as determined by NIH guidelines.
