    Good evening.

Apologies for the unsolicited email, but we thought the following Request for Information (RFI) may be of interest. The RFI synopsis is below, and the full text can be accessed at the link below. It is also attached as a pdf for ease of reading. Please forward the synopsis and link to anyone whom you think might be interested in this topic. Many thanks in advance.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office (DSO) is requesting information on new ideas, approaches, and capabilities for developing interactive simulations that can be used to calibrate the validity of different social science research methods and tools in drawing "strong inference" about causal mechanisms that can lead to emergent complex behaviors in human social systems. Information is requested in particular on three Technical Areas (TAs):

TA1: Formalizing candidate first principles and rules for supercolliders
TA2: Building sufficiently rich, interactive social supercolliders
TA3: Scoring inferential validity and reliability of research methods and tools
