Launch event:
Genome editing: an ethical review
Thursday 6 October - 2pm-5pm
The Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics is publishing the first findings of its programme of work on genome editing, looking at the ethical issues and questions that the technologies give rise to across a number of potential applications. The Council is also launching the next phase of its work which will consider the application of genome editing in human reproduction.

At this event on 6 October, members of the Working Group on genome editing and invited speakers will discuss the review, as well as future Council work on the application of genome editing in the human germline.

A preliminary programme for the event is available to download here: http://nuffieldbioethics.org/wp-content/uploads/Genome-editing-review-Launch-event-programme.pdf
