There is currently no 'standard frequency' for skin health surveillance, nor
should there be. The need and frequency will depend upon the particular
working environment. Indeed, it is common that different frequencies for
skin health checks will exist within a single organisation depending on what
the risk assessments indicate and the findings from an initial, baseline
survey of all those whose work justifies surveillance.

 

Note that the guidance in the latest edition of the ACoP) for COSHH has
changed the recommendations for skin health surveillance, in my view
correctly. To save those using this forum the effort of obtaining the ACoP
and working their way through this, if anyone wants the relevant paragraphs
just drop me an e-mail to this effect.
