A postdoc position is available effective immediately in the School of Engineering at Brown University. The position involves theoretical and modeling efforts to describe the kinetic behavior of energetic materials. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field. Additional requirements are strong programming skills for scientific computing in python, familiarity with different electronic structure methods, and statistical thermodynamics. The initial appointment will be for one year, renewable up to three years.
