Please note two theme issues are coming up for the Journal of Communication, which you may be interested in.

 

The first theme issue is on "Communication for Development and Social Change: Experiences & Future Convergences," with guest editors Thomas Tufte and Rafael Obregon, to be published in 2017 (deadline for submissions: 1 December 2016).

 

The second is on "Ferments in the Field: The Past, Present and Futures of Communication Studies," with guest editors Jack Qiu and Christian Fuchs, to be published in 2018 (deadline for abstract submissions: 1 December 2016; full papers required by 2 May 2017).
