Derek Acorah……there’s an auld lady sitting in the corner…….

Of course, the new Ghostbusters are kick-ass women with science degrees, so they might actually be able to eliminate your ghost efficiently J

Subject: Re: Weird Library Phenomenon - Please Help!

Hi Sarah, though I have no belief in the supernatural myself (despite being once touched up by a ghost), it would seem one of two things are happening here and it would be interesting to know firstly if it is the same medal all the time, and are you keeping them as evidence?

If it is the same medal every time then it could quite possibly be a ghost leaving you presents. Amongst believers these stories of ghostly gifts occurring it is usually the same thing being left, over and over again in the same place. This is never malevolent though, it’s a friendly ghost just leaving you presents, it’s only in horror movies that these things ever escalate (and if they were going to they would have done by now surely)

Alternatively, and let’s be honest it’s much more likely (if much less interesting) that it’s a prankster or pranksters and if it is the same medal over and over again, then pranksters who’ve done their homework, or if not pranksters who haven’t done their homework.

Either way, it’s harmless and I wouldn’t worry about it, if you are worried then you could perhaps ask for CCTV to be set up, or if you have CCTV already then see if you can spot a likely suspect.

Or call Most Haunted and get Yvette Fielding on the case.

Or (who ya gonna call) Ghost Busters, that’s who I’d call personally as I can’t stand Derek flipping Acorah (does he still do that show?).

Subject: Weird Library Phenomenon - Please Help!

Hello,

This is one of those weird things that keeps happening in my library and I’ve got to the point when I need a little outside help. Basically we keep finding what is known as the Miraculous Medal in various places in the library, but mostly in the computer room. So far we’ve found six over the past few years. Just wondering if anyone else has this or a similar phenomenon in their library. Also, any idea why someone would be leaving these behind?

A little background to this story. We first found some in the library after one of the doctors decided that the library was haunted and suggested he would exorcise the area. I laughing said ok. It was after this that we started finding the medals. This doctor has now gone, and the medals keep appearing.

Thanks,

Sarah
