italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies

Dear Liberata (if I may),

You might find the Dizionario gramsciano (Carocci, 2009) helpful, especially the entry on folklore. There is also an online version:

http://dizionario.gramsciproject.org/

Another extremely useful tool is the online Bibliografia gramsciana:

http://bg.fondazionegramsci.org/biblio-gramsci/

Of the publications that were presented at the IMLR a few months ago (I think that’s the posting you’re referring to, but I’m not sure) the one with more on folklore is probably C. Zene (ed.), The Political Philosophies of Antonio Gramsci and B.R. Ambedkar: Itineraries of Dalits and Subalterns (London: Routledge, 2013).

I hope this helps. You can also contact me off-list ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>).

Best wishes,

Alessandro Carlucci

italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
My apologies for referring to a posting of several months ago.

I am looking for a recent publication which presents new findings and/or new ideas concerning the Gramscian notion of folklore.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

Regards,

Liberata
