Subject: Hack Shed and potteries

Hello, could anyone tell me please what a ‘hack shed’ would be used for in relation to a pottery/ brick making site? I have a 1971 plan of a derelict site on which one is marked. Not (yet) in the Monuments thesaurus...

Thanks
