Notes
1. The Carol Weiss prize offers an opportunity to recognise and reward the successes of outstanding early career contributors to the journal and comprises books from the publisher Policy Press to the value of £100. The winning paper is made freely available for a period of three months and promoted widely by Policy Press. For the inaugural prize, the panel were looking for an original and promising contribution to the journal and the field by an early career researcher demonstrating rigorous social science methods and theory and were extremely impressed with all the entries received.
2. Evidence & Policy is published by Policy Press. A free online trial is available for libraries.
