Are you and expert in corporate information management, information governance and records management? 

A central London local authority is recruiting for an interim Corporate Information Manager for six months to cover maternity. Starting as soon as possible this job is an opportunity to join a council which has for many years been leading the way in delivering an information management infrastructure to support online service provision across the authority.

As Corporate Information Manager you will lead, support and develop an established team of information professionals across multiple disciplines; information governance, web and intranet strategy, and records management. The Corporate Information Manager will also take responsibility for the delivery of the council’s corporate information and knowledge management strategy and web strategy. This will involve promoting the council’s information management programme across the council and identifying departmental information champions to support the work of the Information Management department. Furthermore the Corporate Information Manager will be the authority’s lead expert on all records, information and knowledge management issues including how information and knowledge management supports online service delivery and the transparency agendas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a local authority which has excelled in the delivery of a dynamic information and knowledge management agenda. The Corporate Information manager will have a chance to support the upgrade of the council’s EDRMs, enhance the Information Management team’s productivity and drive the principles underpinning the council’s Information Management excellence.

This job requires an experienced team manager with demonstrable skills and experience across the information management arena, including information governance, records management and risk management.

Salary circa £52,000-£53,000
