Dear colleagues Please see below for details of a unique opportunity for an experienced researcher working on geopolitics of wildlife conservation. The work and focus of WildCRU are well known, and they are very keen to work with social scientists in conservation. Many thanks George INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AT WILDCRU Remarkable opportunity to join Oxford's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU) for 5-years on the The Kadas Family Foundation Senior Research Fellowship in the Geopolitics of Wildlife Conservation, (to be held at Worcester College Oxford). The successful applicant, who it is anticipated may have a background in environmental economics, political science, international relations, development, or indeed conservation biology, will join WildCRU's team developing innovative inter-disciplinary research at the interface of these topics. The focus is likely to include mammals, including carnivores (recent examples are http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/cobi.12494/abstract and http://www.pnas.org/content/108/34/13937.short). The main duties will join the team researching the geopolitics of wildlife conservation, and should have a doctorate and at least three years' post-doctoral experience.
