Dear All,

Next Thursday is the Lumen Prize Winners' Gala at the Hackney House,
starting at 5:30pm. This is preceded by a Digital Art Seminar from 2pm
featuring many notable speakers at the same venue. It would be excellent to
see you at both events to support our friends at Lumen.

On Friday there will be a linked event at Hackney House about virtual
reality art and technology, "Hackers Vs MrRobot".

Join us for the Lumen Prize Winners’ Gala

2 Days of Digital Art, Music & Events, Hackney House, London.

On September 29th and 30th, the top floor of Hackney House, London will be
transformed by 2016 Lumen Prize art, giving you a chance to delve into
worlds of gaming, VR, interactive art and music, cutting-edge artist films,
moving image, stills and much more. Special events include:

*2-5pm*, *September 29th*. Digital Art Seminar on:

   - Collecting & Curating Digital Art
   - Digital Art in the Public Sphere
   - Virtual and Augmented Reality in Digital Art
   - Plus Artist Talks by Shorlisted Lumen Prize Artists

*6pm-8pm September 29th* *The 2016 Lumen Winners' Gala*

The winners' of this years Lumen Prize will be announced with prizes
presented by top curators, Lumen Jury Panel members and past winners
followed by a BBQ.

*3pm until Late: Sept 30th.* *Lumen Presents #HackersvsMrRobot*

Come along, borrow a headset and enjoy a new immersive visual experience
that you'll never forget. Have a go with Google's Tilt Brush, Microsoft's
Hololens, learn about the immersive arts at a panel discussion with
artists, leaders in the field, and our partners at PsychFi

Then stay for an evening of music and visuals with highly renowned VJ
Sagburg, The Edinburgh-based musician Hostel Freaks and Hackney House DJ
TwoSixtySix bringing music crafted especially for the event.
