Senior Conservator
£26,680- £28,243

Shropshire Archives holds the combined archive and local studies collection for the county and is located in a purpose built archive repository on Castle Gates, Shrewsbury. This post offers the opportunity to be responsible for the preservation and conservation of fantastic and varied collections covering 1000 years of Shropshire’s history, which include both printed and archival materials. You will also be a key member of the wider Shropshire Archives senior team, with responsibilities for managing a team of paid staff and volunteers.  

We are looking for a qualified and experienced conservator with the flexibility, creativity and persistence to overcome a very challenging environment. Experience of managing and supervising people is also essential, as are good IT and communication skills.
