Hi, We just finish the evaluation of the new reagent for TSH3 and the correlation is very good. But I’m not sure yet if I will change my reference values and use the ones recommended by Beckman. I've just completed our on-site validation, and found excellent correlation on our three DxI800 analyzers. Michael From: Clinical biochemistry discussion list [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Reche Antonio (DARTFORD AND GRAVESHAM NHS TRUST) Sent: 05 August 2016 17:10 To: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> Subject: New Beckman Coulter TSH reagent Dear colleagues, Has any lab already performed a comparison study between the old Beckman Coulter hypersensitive TSH assay and the new TSH3 on the DXI-800? On our study we have found a good correlation (R=0.99) but approximately 20% positive Bias, which is not matching with the slight negative Bias we should expect from the insert of the new assay sent by Beckman Coulter, and we are wondering if our results with the new assay are right.
