Dear list members,

I have a brilliant new role with a highly prestigious and charitable healthcare publisher, publishing books and an international journal.

Editorial and Marketing Assistant - 21 hours/ week

A highly prestigious and charitable healthcare publisher, publishing books and an international journal, is now looking for an Editorial and Marketing Assistant to join them on a part-time basis. You will support the Managing Director and Commissioning Editor in commissioning and developing new titles, providing author support, and undertaking promotional and marketing activities for the book list, the journal, and the press. You will also undertake general administration. Their offices are based in Central London. This is a rare opportunity to gain a huge amount experience in STM journal and book publishing within a small and supportive team.

You will have:

*         An eye for detail and excellent administration skills

*         Excellent communication skills - including the ability to  write creative copy

*         An enthusiastic, creative, flexible, supportive and friendly approach

*         Good Excel, database and Word skills

*         Be numerate and literate to a high standard.
