Hi Lindsey, Yes, as Jon says, Online and Media Writing<http://www1.uwe.ac.uk/research/sciencecommunicationunit/coursesandtraining/onlinesciencewritingcourse.aspx> is a course run by the Science Communication Unit at UWE; it's particularly for people wanting to write more clearly about science for non-scientists. It's an online, ten-week course, and we'll be running the next one in spring/summer 2017. We also run the four-day SciComm Masterclass<http://www1.uwe.ac.uk/research/sciencecommunicationunit/coursesandtraining/professionalandshortcourses/masterclass.aspx>, which offers professional development in lots of different aspects of science communication, including writing. Also, I would second Hancock's Ideas into Words. Hi all, I am looking to hone my written communication skills and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for courses that provide tips on 'translating' science to the general public? I am based in London, so it would be ideal to hear about either weekend courses within easy-ish reach of London / evening courses in London / online courses. Thanks in advance for your help, I really appreciate it.
