The WikiProject Med Foundation and Wikimedia Switzerland, along with several other organizations, just announced the release in four new languages of the Medical Wikipedia app, which has been out in English for more than a year (with an impressive 4.7 star rating) in the Google Play Android store. This app is a big install, at nearly a gigabyte; but it provides offline access, which is a big deal in countries that have exorbitant data fees for mobile devices. Yesterday's release includes Chinese, Arabic, Persian, Spanish apps. Because it's Wikipedia content, everything is CC BY-SA, and the app is free and open source.
