Could you join appropriate linkedin groups targeting the kind of people you want to recruit and make contact there?

Hello MCG team,

I’m looking to recruit user testers for a piece of research informing our site revamp. One of our primary audiences is researchers, but ideally I’d like to get perspectives from researchers/academics who are not already familiar with our site. The difficulty is that it’s quite hard to find contact details for academics that aren’t in some way already affiliated with the Ashmolean or the wider University.

I was wondering if anyone else in the group had faced a similar scenario and would welcome any suggestions for how to recruit this segment.

All very best,

Georgina
