Apparently Google are discontinuing live Hangouts and making people use
YouTube (source:
http://venturebeat.com/2016/08/15/google-is-discontinuing-google-hangouts-on-air-on-september-12-pushes-users-to-youtube-live/).
Given the notorious toxicity of YouTube comments, that mightn't be the
right solution for you.

We (the MCG) are Periscoping at least one of the keynotes from our October
conference (come along!
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mcgs-museumstech-2016-sharing-our-stories-tickets-26558279529
) but we've found it hard to save the stream to archive previous events.

Cheers, Mia
