Langdon Down Centre (Normansfield Theatre and the Langdon Down Museum of Learning Disability)

The Langdon Down Museum of Learning Disability at Normansfield Teddington, was the home and institution developed by the Victorian physician Dr John Langdon Down and his family
where a revolutionary and enlightened approach was developed for the care of people with learning disabilities. Its museum and grounds offer insight into changing historical concepts of disability, disability education and care of individuals with Downs Syndrome
in the community and long stay institutions. The site is located in Teddington

It will also offer the opportunity to
have a presentation on the organisation, guided tour of the grounds and the museum and the opportunity to meet staff
