Hi Yehuda,
I would recommend to stay away from Windows. While some things in theory could work, you would be on your own if there are issues since we don't test that platform.
When it comes to cards, you can generally expect better performance from more expensive cards, but better value-for-money for cheaper latest-generation consumer cards.
While both Titan-XP and P100 have been announced, you won't see much specific performance numbers for any code until the NDAs have expired and/or cards are available to buy.
Cheers,
Erik

Hi,
My friends and I are having long dissections about the hardware and OS for Relion 2.0 and was wondering if anyone here tried it.
1) Now windows 10 has Ubuntu bash command line. Anyone here tried using Relion 2.0 on it? Is it any better or worse then real Linux?
2) In the the GPU that is recommended is GTX 1080. Now that there is a new Titan X and a new Tesla P100 we were wondering can they get a faster pressing time then 1080? We think that the new Titan X will but we don't know how does the Teals P100 will compare
to them?
Thanks,
Yehuda
