The Molecular Biology Department at Princeton University invites 
applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant 
Professor Level. We seek candidates working on fundamentally important 
biological questions, broadly defined. Applicants with expertise in 
electron microscopy of macromolecules, immunity and other areas are 
encouraged to apply. We seek faculty members who will create a climate 
that embraces excellence and diversity, with a strong commitment to 
teaching and mentoring that will enhance the work of the department and 
attract and retain students of all races, nationalities, and genders.

The University has a strong commitment to interdisciplinary studies, 
especially in the areas of systems biology, imaging, genomics, 
quantitative biology and engineering. The Department of Molecular 
Biology, together with the University, recently built a state-of-the-art 
center for cryo-EM structure determination equipped with several 
high-end microscopes. The Department has a cutting edge cell microscopy 
facility, X-ray facility, synchrotron access, biophysics core facility, 
high-level computing, imaging, and mass spectrometry facilities, 
high-throughput sequencing facility, and a state of the art vivarium.

All applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and a commitment 
to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants must 
have an excellent record of research productivity and demonstrate the 
potential for developing a creative independent research
