We seek candidates working on fundamentally important biological questions, broadly defined. Applicants with expertise in electron microscopy of macromolecules, immunity and other areas are encouraged to apply. The Department of Molecular Biology, together with the University, recently built a state-of-the-art center for cryo-EM structure determination equipped with several high-end microscopes. The Department has a cutting edge cell microscopy facility, X-ray facility, synchrotron access, biophysics core facility, high-level computing, imaging, and mass spectrometry facilities, high-throughput sequencing facility, and a state of the art vivarium.
